点评:We received a message from Stena a few minutes before arriving to check in at the port before our departure, to apologise that the lifts were out of order. This was a real problem for me as I had had a knee replacement operation a month previously, and have to take stairs one at a time and slowly, holding up other passengers. Our car was loaded onto the lower deck which was four long flights of stairs to the floor where the restaurants are, and where our cabin was booked. We returned today, a week later, and received the same message this morning, to find that the lift had still not been fixed, and we subsequently learned that it has been broken for several weeks, which is wholly unacceptable! The reputation of Stena Line among local Irish is that this is not unusual, and that it usually runs very late, so they recommend taking any other ferry company but to avoid Stena. I wish we had known before booking. Pull your socks up Stena, in this day and age this is just not good enough and there can be no excuse. If I had been in a wheelchair I would have had to have remained in the hold for the whole journey….
