点评：This was my first time ever riding a horse but was excited about the experience despite unfamiliarity with horseback riding. My one big recommendation for the owners would be to find a way to communicate with trip participants if they are behind schedule and will be starting a ride late due to delays with the previous group. Myself and several other riders for 4:00 pm were at the designated start point with no sign of the horses ,trailer, or the staff until very shortly before the ride was to begin (after being asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time). A text message or an email to the group letting us know they were delayed or something of that nature would have been much appreciated. However, once we did get started everything was great. The staff was very attentive to the experience level of the riders as well as their size in determining which horse to match with which rider. All the horses were older and relatively calm. Staff did a good job or orienting riders with basic commands and instructions. They also kept one staff member toward the front of the group and one at the rear as well as having a truck drive along the side for supervision. One of the staff members rode next to me for a large part of the ride and answered some questions that were helpful. I'm very glad I chose this experience for my first time on a horse. The experience of riding a horse on the beach alongside the ocean was breathtaking with amazing views. One of the other staff members riding in the truck took pictures of some of the riders (myself included) and shared them promptly through personal text messages. This experience was something on my personal "bucket list" and doing it through Virginia Beach/Outer Banks Horseback Riding met all expectations. I highly recommend this experience!!!!
