Taming the river after 30yrs

点评：Back in 1986 some friends and I were part of the same Boy Scout troop (#256 in Puerto Rico), we did a similar rafting event back then in Arizona.
To celebrate this experience 39 yrs ago, we did a trip around Elijay, GA, and chose Raft One as our white river rafting experience. First and foremost, shout out to Taylor, who was our raft handler. After our ride, I can see this is a very fun job, but with a lot of responsibility, and carrying a bunch of 55yr olds (and one 65yr old), around a river with pretty rough currents is not an easy feat.
The experience didn't disappoint it was really great. Taylor was super informative, we always felt in control and safe with all the protocols in the raft. From what we could observe the entire crew from Jamie, Taylor to the rest of the guys and gals in the raft team took their job seriously and had fun with it. Taylor was super informative knew a few tidbits about how the hydropower worked around the river and we were able to see it working while riding the river.
From all the other rafting companies out there, Raft One were the only ones giving Safety Helmets to the crews, and the passengers, and after a few drops from the raft, I appreciated have one one protecting my head as it can get pretty rough out there.
After the ride, you come back to the HQ, and you can cool off drinking some draft beers from their micro bar on the back. I even found the photographs to be reasonably priced all things considered so we bought them.
10/10 Would do it again!
PS. If we repeated this again, I think we would most likely go out with Raft One again since our experience was super enjoyable.
