A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience!

点评：This was easily one of the top five adventures we’ve ever done in our lives! My husband and I are in our mid-60s and were probably the oldest people in our small group of seven—but we were absolutely game to try it, and we’re so glad we did.
Andrea and Eliza, our instructors, were fantastic—patient, clear, and encouraging. They gave easy-to-understand instructions and struck the perfect balance between keeping things safe and making it fun. We felt completely at ease the entire time.
They did a wonderful job matching each rider to the right horse based not only on weight and experience level but also personality. It really made the experience that much better.
And then came the highlight—riding in the ocean. What an unbelievable feeling! I couldn’t believe I was actually doing it; it felt surreal and absolutely magical.
Another big plus: there’s no cheesy photo upsell. The guides kindly used our own cell phones to take fantastic photos and videos for us—just have your phone handy in the provided fanny pack (or bring your own). Such a nice touch!
If there’s one excursion to book while in Turks & Caicos, this is it. Just make sure to book in advance, since they have a limited number of horses per weight category. We were glad we arranged it before our trip.
Tips:
- Wear longer shorts to protect your skin and help with sun exposure.
- Water shoes are ideal.
- You don’t need a hat if you’ll be wearing a helmet (which we did).
- Keep your phone in a fanny pack for easy photo access.
All in all, Provo Ponies is a must-do experience—something we’ll be talking about for years to come!
