点评：A Must-Visit Blend of Science and Fun Near Center Parcs
If you're staying at the Center Parcs resort on Als, Universe Science Park is hands-down
one of the best activities you can add to your trip. Located just 500 meters away, it's
incredibly convenient and offers a refreshing mix of hands-on science, interactive
exhibits, and some thrilling attractions that go far beyond a typical amusement park.
The park shines with its highly relevant and educational science focus. Unlike pure thrill
parks, many exhibits tie into real technology, physics, and innovation (including a nice
little Danfoss museum that's included with entry – great if you're interested in the
company). It's engaging and informative without feeling like a school trip, making it
genuinely enjoyable for the whole family.
Age suitability: Perfect for most kids from around 6 years and up. There are plenty of
activities for younger children, while older kids and teens will love the more interactive
and adventurous zones. One important note: they are very strict with height
requirements, using precise laser measurements. This can be a bit disappointing for
some kids who are borderline, so check the requirements in advance if you have anyone
close to the limits.
Value for money: We added unlimited entrance for the entire 2-week stay for just 125
DKK per person through the Center Parcs package – an absolute steal! Normal ticket
prices are significantly higher, so definitely look for deals or bundles if you're staying
nearby. Parking is oddly paid even though the park is in the middle of nowhere, which
feels a bit unnecessary.
The virtual ticket system for popular attractions is excellent – it helps you avoid
standing in long queues, especially in the Danish summer heat.
Staff are friendly and helpful overall.
Minor downside: The park opens at 10 am, but some of the "wilder" attractions
don't start until 11 am. This left our teens with fewer options during the first hour.
Food: Standard amusement park fast food – nothing special and quite overpriced for the
quality. Plan to eat before/after or bring snacks if possible.
Overall, I highly recommend Universe Science Park to anyone visiting the area,
especially Center Parcs guests. It's educational, fun, and offers great variety. Just hunt
for a good entrance offer, and you'll have a fantastic day (or multiple days) out. Highly
