点评：Been wanting to go to Alcatraz for many years and finally achieved it! The boat trip was lovely, just cruising along in the sun. We got the transport up the hill due to mobility issues and I'm very glad we did as it's a bit of a hike! The view is fabulous though. Once at the top you go into the main building and get given an audio guide- I highly recommend listening to it as it's really interesting and it's narrated by ex guards and prisoners. We could then wander around at our leisure and get the transport back down when we were done. You should have a nose in the shop as there are some interesting things to buy. We easily spent a good couple of hours there and as the boats are so frequent, you can take as long as you like. You are not allowed to take any food or drink there (other than water) but there are plenty of drinks and snacks available on the boat.
