点评:The bluebell walks at Arlington are a delight. We visited at the end of April - which in 2025 was peak bluebell. I adore bluebells and we have some lovely woods near my home, but the Arlington woods are something special. Its also very unusual having a woodland walk which is completely accessible to wheelchairs and buggies, so many visitors are inter-generational families. Most of the bluebells are around the 'blue' walk in Beatons' wood which is fully accessible. There are more bluebells on the white walk, an easy path but not suitable for wheelchairs. There also are longer options to explore the surrounding countryside.
In the practical side there is a large car park, which can get busy at weekends or holidays. We arrived at 2pm on a regular weekday and it was still quite busy. We looked around the adjacent garden (which is open daily by donation in bluebell season). By the time we had lunch and looked around the garden it was much calmer. The woods are 'open' until 5pm, but once you are paid and in thats fine and no one asks you to leave. Its much more enjoyable, and you get better photographs either early or later in the day. In terms of facilities there is a cafe onsite, toilets and stalls for local charities - which vary depending on the day.
