点评:While the tiles are beautiful, unless you are an enthusiast or just passing through I’d see no reason to visit. The toilets were out of order and the one portoloo was beyond disgusting. The coffee in the wine shop was horrible…a first in Portugal.
As for Pinhão itself….it is a dirty and unfriendly town. There really is nothing to do unless you are heading straight off on a tour. Couldn’t just get a coffee and the food on offer is expensive and unpleasant.
There is dog dirt everywhere! And we discovered why when an actual pack of stray dogs turned up. Scary. We got an earlier train back to Porto after spending the last two hours just sitting at platform.
Also the town is very very run down. I presume as cruise boats and many coaches come to the area there is money to be made…but it looks and feels rough.
A wasted last day of our holiday
