点评：Booked 3 safaris in jeeps- 2 afternoon and one morning. 3 different guides, drivers and zones.
Safari 1 was a full jeep with 6 people plus toddler through zone 9. Quite a way to reach the entrance but rewarded with a leopard soon after arrival. Thereafter peacocks, deer , antelope and an eagle plus great views from the top of the zone. Weather was good but chilly on the drive back. A good 3 hours plus including toilet breaks.
Safari 2 this morning was with a great guide and good driver but very cold and foggy. Zones 4/5 with 3 other ladies and different terrain with more long grass and plenty of water to drive through. No major sightings but plenty of birds, wonderful banyan trees and several groups of animals together so happy to see owls and kingfishers.
Safari 3 this afternoon in zone 1 was with a guide determined to find an elusive tiger which meant driving at break neck speeds bypassing other animals/birds. His English was not as good but the scenery was wonderful with a lake and views up an escarpment one side and to the cliffs the other. We saw plenty of birds and the sun was out which was lovely. We were heading out of the zone when we came across several vehicles with people standing, this could only mean one thing…a tiger or to be precise a tigress called Noor T-39. We got a wonderful view of her walking towards the lake and the driver was very adept at reversing when stuck in the middle of the a jam of vehicles with eager tourists keen to see her.
