点评:Unfortunately, this years farmer's market was a big let down. My friends and I have been going to the farmer's market every year on Labor Day weekend for about 8 years. There wasn't many vendors and not a variety of goods. Not saying anything against those who were there, it's just that the quantity of vendors are limited, and it's become more of a flea market so to speak and not a farmers market. There was only one or to vendors selling fresh fruits and vegetables. A vendor told me that they have raised the price of event space and they aren't concerned about the vendors and their needs. Only 2 of the 8 vendors I have become accustomed to were there. I live in Georgia and this was one of the highlights of our annual trip but the farmer's market was not worth it this year and last year, though last year was a tab bit better. I'm not sure who is running this and the restrictions they may have but it has to be a better way to bring the farmer market feel back and the give local vendors a chance. I heard that there are other farmer's markets around the area and maybe we will have to start a new tradition. Charging a $160 to set up a tent and table seems a little steep for a small business. I'm not saying that I won't return but something needs to be done.
