Attractive but hot
deSPAcio Rubicon Palace的点评
点评：Rubicon is stunning visually. The rooms are spacious, the hotel is immaculate and the poolside attractive.
The daytime activities are plentiful and the pools although salty and a little chilly, are spacious.
The bedrooms are large and comfortable with extras such as shampoo, toothbrushes, conditioner, moisturiser etc.
The floors in the rooms are very dusty meaning shoes are needed whilst inside to keep feet and beds clean.
The restaurants are stocked well but are very hot, as is the whole hotel is not air conditioned. Fans blow on the ceilings but it is just hot air being moved round which makes dining uncomfortable.
The evening entertainment is disappointing. The piano bar, although attractive has inadequate seating outside. This is the only place to sit out for a drink. The lights are turned off at 12 meaning bedtime is inevitable if you are staying in the hotel.
The disco bar is uncomfortable and the acts very dated. It is far too hot and the queues for drinks are long.
The steak house, Italian and dinner show are good from the dining room but again are hot.
The staff are friendly and work hard but there are not enough people to serve drinks. There is no self service.
Sunbeds are plentiful and there is not a need to set an alarm for 6 to get the towels out.
The snack pool bar is fast serving and has hot snacks available 12-6.
The bus stop is right outside and regularly goes to play blanca town which is necessary for night time entertainment.
The hotel looks 5 star but there are improvements needed to make it warrant that rating.
We had a good time but I don't think I would rebook.
