科学探索博物馆的点评
点评：Oppenheimer founded The Exploratorium because he felt science education had gone down the wrong road. Science is based on experiential engagement. The old Exploratorium was almost all engaging, exploration based exhibits. Unfortunately, with the move to the building on the pier, they have devolved into "here's the science lesson you are going to learn and here's how you are going to learn it after you've read this essay" kind of nonsense that Oppenheimer was objecting to in the first place. Kids race from exhibit to exhibit pounding on buttons and yanking on levers, but it's hard to tell if they are getting anything out of it. If you want an amusement park for your kids, better to just go to an amusement park.
I have also witnessed uncivil behavior from their youth volunteers and was treated unacceptably by one of their employees. The Exploratorium could care less.
