点评：3.5 = good. I suspect it helps if you are a real Steinbeck fan - I am perhaps a moderate one / obviously he factors into the American canon of literature and I've read 3-4 of the classics. But it's tough to make a museum out of any single author, even one with a long career. (OK, the Hemingway house in Key West is an obvious exception, and I've never been to the Fitzgerald museum in Montgomery) You do learn something about his life and early struggles, plus the later somewhat surprising rejection (or at least criticism) later in life. What it neglected to mention much is that Steinbeck came from a fairly wealthy background and after success consistently traveled first class, lol. Interesting displays and you can go down memory lane into the books you've read and those you might want to revisit or explore for the first time (I've put one or two on my list), but overall this won't blow your mind strictly as an attraction, but then - it probably couldn't given purpose.
