The best way to see Kenai NP!
基奈峡湾巡航之旅的点评
点评：We were scheduled for the 7.5 hour tour with Major Marine in August 2024. Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperating on the day of our tour. When we checked in, we were told that the water was rough. Major Marine was extremely accommodating and offered that we could either opt for the shorter 4 hour tour that day that stayed in the bay only or rebook. We chose to rebook for the next day on the 6 hour tour based on their availability.
The next day, our captain was Nicole. She and her team were incredible! On our tour we saw bald eagles, mountain goats, humpback whale, black bear, otters, seal, stellar seal lions, lots of puffins and finished off the day with a large pod of orcas. Apparently, it was extremely rare to see orcas so we were lucky that day. We also go close to Aialik glacier and were able to see it calving. Nicole gave us plenty of viewing time for all the wildlife.
The boat that we were on was extremely clean and well taken care of. The front of their boats have a stadium standing area so that everyone has the best possible view and you aren't blocked by someone in front of you. She also slowly turns the boat so that everyone has a chance to see the wildlife.
During the trip, her crew was constantly walking around checking on everyone to make sure they were comfortable. I can't recommend them enough. If we are lucky enough to return one day, we will definitely book with them again!
