Great Educational Place for Kids and Tourists

点评：This is a great place to immerse in the Tropical Rainforest. It is quite expensive to visit but it is not government funded. They are an educational place (Flora, fauna etc) so a great place to take kids. You can get a good workout doing all the different tracks including a climb up to the wooden tower with about 112 steps. The aerial walkway above the canopy is lovely to get a look at the tops of the huge trees. The moving dinosaurs on the Jurassic Walk are entertaining making you think about that era. They note the cassowary sightings as there are a few about. Apparently there was one in the carpark earlier. We also had lunch there. You have to get there early as the lunch options were running out. We had tasty little quiches. There is also a small giftshop. It is definitely worthwhile to visit but you have to endure all the delays of the roadworks over the range heading north and returning south to get there.
