Jefferson Barracks Telephone Museum的点评
点评：Wow, what an unexpected treasure! Jefferson Barracks itself is an interesting place to visit (including the epicly named "Taco Bell Fitness Trail") and a under-advertised row of unique museums housed in old Army quarters and buildings. The Telephone Museum seemed like a quirky way to kill some time, and some may pause at the entrance fee, but it's SO worth it (it's only $10, cheapskates)!! The all-volunteer staff have SO much knowledge of the history of the telephone, and the collection they have on display is mind-boggling. Our host was a 35-year veteran of the the industry displayed an unbelievable amount of knowledge and a super-friendly, whitty, and downright giddy hospitality. We thought the visit might be a humorous 10- or 15-minute diversion to kill some time. Instead, we spent over an hour (and would've spent another hour if we had the time), with our amazing guide (I'm terrible about remembering names, sadly), having experienced a super-enlightening, mind-blowingly educational, and fun family visit. Absolute MUST visit if you're in the area on the right days! Kudos to the staff!
