Ok but not what I had hoped for

点评：Some new boards but lots of the boards are damaged. It was rather chaotic trying to select boards because most of what we selected we were then told was damaged and unavailable. It was a rather frustrating experience trying to rent here. They eventually gave us a longboard with a price of a brand-new rental board, but it had a deep ding in the tail which they had covered with silver tape. The tape came loose and flapped around within minutes of starting our surf. We therefore changed it for a new mini mal which they tried to charge us extra for, telling us it was a new board (despite having paid for a “new board” price for the previous one). This new mini mal only had two small side fins and a missing centre fine and the guy wanted to send us off with that. They were much smaller than proper twin fins and I think it would’ve surfed really badly. He eventually agreed to put a centre fin in which was far too large and designed for large longboard.
We came here on the advice of a detailed blog but found it not quite what we were hoping for. It was much easier when I popped into a couple of other local surf shops up the road to rent some short boards for the bigger days.
