点评：Mercado San Juan de Dios is hands-down one of the most vibrant and unforgettable markets I’ve ever explored. As one of the largest indoor markets in Latin America, it’s a full-on experience — colorful, loud, chaotic, and so full of life.
From the moment I stepped inside, I was hit with the delicious scent of sizzling tacos and sweet candied fruits. Every corner felt like a new discovery: handcrafted leather goods, artisan candies, local spices, and vendors shouting over one another in the best kind of hustle. You could spend hours here — browsing, bargaining, people-watching, and (of course) snacking on birria, tortas ahogadas, or fresh-cut mango with lime and chile. I bought a great pair of leather sandals that I still own to this day! Plus I grabbed a bunch of souvenirs for my friends and family from here.
If you want to feel the pulse of Guadalajara and get a real taste (literally!) of the city, make sure Mercado San Juan is on your list.
