点评：Was part of a “ex works” competition, so effectively a society day.
Plus points
- staff really friendly and food was better you get at a lot of society days. I had the curry but equally the pie looked fab.
- greens in reasonable nick.
Less favourable
- it’s a pile em high sell em cheap(er) type of course. What we paid was probably decentish value for 27 holes but tee boxes were awful. Less grass on them than a Sunday league pitch at the end of a long dry season. They didn’t look like they had been repaired for ages. Broken tees all over the place, how much do tee “bins cost”
- I know most people have watches these days but saw no fairway distance markers on the Waterloo.
- seems they have taken out some of the interesting bunkers, hopefully they will replace them.
- generally it has the feeling of needing a bit of TLC.
