点评：I wanted to share the experience we had playing golf on the Lakes course on Friday, July 25. We teed off on time, and it took 48 minutes to play the first two holes. At that point I called the pro shop, and I was told “It’s a little slow today.” We were told a Ranger would address the problem. After another 30 minutes passed, we finally finished playing the third hole. There were three or four groups bunched up on every tee box. Eventually, the Ranger arrived to tell us play was slow, as if we didn’t already know. I confronted him and said we had already phoned the pro shop, and I asked what action he was actually taking to speed up play. He said he would go talk to the groups ahead of us again. The next time we saw the Ranger was over a hour later when we were on the eighth hole of the course. At that time, he said he was trying to rush the people that were slowing things down ahead of us along. It took three hours to play nine holes of golf. Not only was it frustrating, but because of the slow speed of play, we were not able to finish our round due to having tickets to an event later in the day. It’s laughable that the first message that comes up on the cart is about how much you all value the players time and your promise of a four hour round. No one cared about the slow pace of play. We paid much more than we should have to basically sit around for 10-15 minutes between each shot and only get in 9 holes. We will not be back. Ever. Horrible course management is an understatement. The priority is clearly revenue generation, not a quality golf experience.
