Small but fabulous family run zoo 🦓🐾
Fife Zoo的点评
点评：First visit to Fife zoo and it's lovely. This wee zoo is what you make of it. You need to appreciate what they have, which currently is Ringtail lemurs, armadillos, porcupine, saki and de brazza monkeys, meerkats, grevys zebra, mongoose, tortoises. A walk through bird aviary.
(Currently closed for the safety of the birds due to bird flu threats)
A small variety of insects: a brand new mexican red legged tarantula, madagascar hissing cockroaches, phantasmal poison frogs, yellow footed tortoises, and some kind of bug I can't remember the name of and stick insects.
A decent little play park for the kids, and a fantastic little Café with an African theme, even down to the chair seats. The staff were lovely too.
You can and should spend time at each exhibit to see the animals and insects. Not everything is visible all the time they are animals and have an off show space, too!
Yes, this is a small zoo, but I can appreciate what they have done, and it's a work in process.
They seem to have a small number of staff who are doing their best, which is brilliant, and this place is family run.
The boring negative reviews just can't appreciate what this place is right now, and the price is fantastic for what YOU can make of it. We will definitely be adopting an animal or 2 and will be back again 🦓
