Traffic flowed continuously across the bridge, while boats shuffled on the river, and the distant London Eye and Shard Building added a touch of modernity to the cityscape. I made sure to visit during the evening, when the sunset's golden hues reflected on the river's surface, blending beautifully with the bridge's blue paintwork to create a stunning panorama.
In addition to enjoying the scenery, I also visited the exhibitions on the bridge, learning about its history and construction. The moment the bridge slowly lifted to allow boats to pass was particularly awe-inspiring. Although the photography spots were somewhat crowded, the thrill of that instant made it all worthwhile.
