An amazing experience — truly the adventure of a lifetime. We spent 5 days and 4 nights in the jungle, and time flew by, even though the trip is organized at a very relaxed pace — no one rushes you.
What animals did we see? Monkeys, parrots, a toucan, a turtle, otters, caimans, river dolphins, and lots of herons.
What did we do? We hiked through the jungle at different times of day, went fishing, paddled canoes, and explored the river by boat.
What I was worried about but didn’t happen:
1. That there would be clouds of mosquitoes and that every moment would be a battle against them. That was NOT the case. Mosquitoes mostly appear in the evening, and at the campsite the crew (thank you, Samuel and Benjamin!) brings mosquito coils that work great. In other situations, a good repellent is enough.
2. That it would be unbearably hot. Yes, the jungle is warm and humid, but it’s absolutely manageable. Bring a few extra sets of clothes — you won’t have to carry them on your back since you’ll be traveling by boat, and they’ll definitely come in handy, as clothes get wet and dirty quickly.

2. 天气会热得让人难以忍受。没错，丛林里确实温暖潮湿，但完全可以忍受。多带几套衣服——因为要坐船，所以不用背着，而且它们绝对会派上用场，因为衣服很容易湿脏。
