Disrespectful and Unpleasant Experience — Would Strongly Recommend Choosing Another Tour Company

点评：Our family took the Upper Antelope Canyon Tour with Antelope Canyon Tours and were left extremely disappointed by how we were treated throughout the experience.
The issues started even before the tour began. When we boarded the tour bus, the guide instructed everyone to occupy seats from the back. Since we were among the first to board, we took the three seats in the second-last row. However, the guide insisted that we move to the very last row, saying that people sitting in the middle rows could get hit by backpacks. This reasoning didn’t make sense because backpacks were not allowed on the tour unless they were transparent, and no one had one.
When we returned from the canyon, that same rule was conveniently ignored — other families took their original seats, while we were left with the last row again. The inconsistency and selective enforcement of rules made us feel unfairly singled out.
Once inside the canyon, things got worse. The guide repeatedly called out our family for “slowing down” or “taking too long with pictures,” even though we were simply waiting for the family ahead of us to finish taking their photos before we took ours. Instead of observing the situation, she raised her voice and was unnecessarily rude in front of the entire group.
The entire experience felt rushed, uncomfortable, and disrespectful. For the price of the tour, we expected professionalism and courtesy — not to be singled out or embarrassed.
If you’re planning to visit Antelope Canyon, I would strongly recommend booking with Adventurous Antelope Canyon Photo Tours, Dixie Ellis’ Antelope Canyon Tours, or Ken’s Tours (Lower Antelope Canyon) instead. These operators are known for being organized, patient, and respectful toward all guests.
