点评:Love love love this place. One of the highlights of our trip and completely unplanned.
we decided to jump on the shuttle bus when we were at the Visitors Centre in town deciding what to do on a wet dismal day. The shuttle bus driver was a lovely friendly lady. The zoo is more of a Sanctuary which makes it even more special. The guy at the ticket office was chatty, charming and fun. We are so grateful he suggested we go and see Cranbeary and Kova first. What a privilege to see Kova playing and having fun, diving in and out of the pool and playing with a bowl and a rubbish bin. Cranbeary was keeping an eye on her and even looked like she gave her a kiss when her head popped out from under the water. We were extra lucky as a couple of the landscapers / gardens chatted to us for a little bit and were very interesting with lots of good info and great ambassadors for the zoo. We think we saw and were fascinated by every animal and if we missed them the first loop, we saw them on the second loop. Again, we were lucky, it was not crowded, maybe because of the rain. We loved it even when our raincoats leaked and as our umbrellas dripped on us.
I would love to return over and over again. Thank you
