点评：🚂🍂 Yesterday, ( October 16, 2026) I took a solo adventure on the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad’s Steam Engine 1309 from Cumberland to Frostburg and back, and I had the BEST time! ❤️
I sat with three lovely ladies from a Washington, DC, church group called “Young at Heart.” They were so sweet and fun! 🥰 I enjoyed a delicious roast beef sandwich, my window seat, and the beautiful scenery along the way. We even went through a tunnel and over a bridge!
Once we arrived in Frostburg, we had 90 minutes to explore, visit a cool carriage museum, shop for gifts, grab a bite to eat, and admire the steam train.
The weather was absolutely beautiful all day, and we made it back to Cumberland around 4 PM, just in time before the rain and nasty weather rolled in! My 2½-hour drive home went smoothly, too. 🙏
I’d definitely do this trip again next fall! 🍁🚂 Sometimes the best adventures are the ones you take on your own! 💕
