What an interesting museum and just the right size to enjoy for the afternoon

点评：This is my second time to the Fenimore Museum and it was as enjoyable as the first. The museum is just large enough to see in one afternoon but not large enough to overwhelm you.
I started with the Calvin and Hobbs exhibition that was new to the museum. I found myself laughing at the same comics that I did when they first came out. It was a really engaging exhibition for both kids and their parents.
The early portrait gallery was wonderful as you see the progression from early Colonial portraits to the Hudson River School. The artifacts from that era were very interesting and were displayed so nicely.
The Thaw galleries on Native American Art are really fascinating and have some interesting artifacts on display. It shows the creativity of artists from our Native tribes and their story to tell.
It is a great way to spend the afternoon.
