点评:We took the trail to go to Cascade Falls. Realistically, we received no help from anyone we asked about the 2-mile trail. It would have been helpful if someone told us it was not a stroll in the woods but a real mountain trail. We were ill equipped as far as cloths and shoes. On the All-Trails web site, it is listed as a moderately difficult trail. For a first timer it is very good experience. It is a spectacular walk but be prepared to forge some creeks and climb some rocks. elevations and terrain changes are frequent and some challenging. We made it about three quarters of the way and realized it would be wise to turn back. Whatever length of time you think it will take, that is if a beginner, add 25% more. I definitely recommend it. Even at the welcome center of the FDR park, they are very vague, but extremely friendly. Do some research before you begin any hike and have the correct shoes and cloths along with a walking stick and lots of water and food. You will have a spectacular time. It is worth it, BTW, we were there in the fall. I imagine it could be very warm in the summer. We loved it and will go again, but better prepared.
