点评：First, my bona fides: I traveled a half-dozen times to LoDo as a visitor and have lived there two years. I lived 23 years in Washington DC's Dupont Circle. I've often visited central city neighborhoods of Manhattan, San Francisco, and Chicago, and less often LA, Boston, Miami, Houston, Seattle, Pittsburgh, Minneapolis, San Diego, Phoenix, and Baltimore. Denver's LoDo is near the top among all of them. LoDo excels in: 1. Energy--in motion from dawn to midnight. 2. Hip--twenty-somethings set the standards; they're laid back and fashion forward. 3. Fun--Four professional sports are in walking distance; restaurants abound; acting, concert, and cultural events are year-round. 4. Weather--At altitude Mile High, humidity is a no-show; the sun of the Southwest warms year-round; the highest peaks of the Rockies to the west guarantee peak snow there and not much in Denver. 5. Go--You won't truly know till you go!
