多莱坞公园的点评
点评：I'm a senior lady visiting alone and had a ball! The park was not jam packed on Memorial Day and a hint of rain. I first stopped at the glass blowing and was able to assist in making my own glass ornament. It was ready to pick up at the front desk at the end of my day!
I wandered thru the many shops, boutiques, food and fun. I LOVED the local crafters and vendors (candles, blacksmith, glass, honey, kettle corn)...
The Dolly exhibits and theaters offered so much Dolly history
I took both the Flowers and Food tour and 40th Anniversary tour. They were given by the same tour guide (Matt & Caleb) but both unique and quite enjoyable. On the tours, I met many of the food vendors (candy makers were very informative and chatty) tasting along the way! ;)
I loved that there was a remake of Dolly's original home and chapel. I sat in the chapel for a long period listening to the wonderful music provided.
My feet were sore but it was sooooooo worth it!
I with there were even more crafters -- I heard they used to have broom makers, weavers, quilters, etc. that would have been nice to see.
I loved the shows.
A very satisfying day that exceeded my expectations.
