Polruan Ferry的点评
点评：The crew called aloud for passengers from Fowey to Polruan. A few moments later, we were off.
Still were the waters as we passed docked boats. It was all very serene. Only the gentle hum of the ferry's engine could be heard. It was a comforting sound. The engine purred as it pushed through the waters, leaving delicate ripples which faded into crystal blue bubbles.
Those afraid of tempestuous waters needn't fear. The cheery crew were clearly experienced sea folk. I watched one crew member masterfully wrap a rope around a pole when we docked, securing the ferry.
This was a man who was good with rope. Strong, sturdy hands that would surely save you if you happened to fall into the waters.
There are other ways to get to Polruan. On a warm summer's day it might be tempting to swim it. Part of me wanted to strip down to my bamboo underwear and dive into the inviting waters, but I was concerned an undercurrent might whisk the underwear off, and they would end up in Golitha Falls.
The ferry is, therefore, a very sensible option
