点评:Overpriced and underdelivered. Attended a Paul Simon concert last night and the only fun part of it was the anticipation. That pretty much ended when we were forced to wait in line for about 30 minutes to enter the parking lot. The attendant was a single sheriff deputy for hundreds of cars. Aimed to arrive 75 minutes early. Should have planned to arrive at least 2 hours early. Had lawn tickets. Lawn tickets were fairly expensive, though nowhere near the cost of pavillion seats. By the time we entered the pavillion area, the lawn was almost totally filled. They probably sold twice the number of lawn tickets as pavilliion seats, so it was oversold. The concert started about 10 minutes late, and Paul Simon wasn't ready though he tried. About 30 minutes later, rain started very unexpectedly. There are no facilities for thousands of lawn seaters to gather out of the rain. We left after waiting about 20 minutes for the rain to stop, rather than to watch the concert in wet misery. In the mean time, my friend was charged about $12 for a plastic cup of wine. Seems to me, that if you pay as much as I did for any kind of ticket, that you should be able to see the concert, even if in streaming mode. No such treat as far as I know.
