点评:The ground floor has an extensive exhibit about life on the Danube River, transportation and ecology. We enjoyed the many interactive exhibits and felt this was a good way to spend part of the morning in Ulm during a cooler/rainy day in December. The museum is pretty big and we only saw a couple other people.
We enjoyed the main exhibition on the main floor because there was plenty to read and watch including local customs and traditions. The first floor had an exhibition on Swabian life including some artifacts but we could not enjoy that as much because everything was in German. We spent about an hour in the main exhibition and maybe only ten minutes in the German one because we could look but we didn't really see anything interesting enough to translate.
The cost to enter the museum is 5 Euros per adult and there are some free lockers. We had a large lunch in the Fisherman's Quarter which is about a 15 minute walk away along with many of Ulm's main sites. There isn't much near this museum and it is a very quiet area.
