Free Guides and Maps to WWI Remembrance Trails

点评：If like us you are doing a pilgrimage of WWI sites, then the Amiens Tourist Office is an invaluable resource.
It is easy to find and is located right next to the Amiens Cathedral Notre Dame. You can’t miss it.
Throughout France, the tourist offices have been very helpful and this one was no different. Without exception, they have friendly staff who all seem to speak good English and the offices are well-stocked with brochures, maps and leaflets.
We stopped by hoping to get some extra advice on visiting the WWI battlefields and sites. We were starting out self-driving tour in Amiens so the Tourist Office was good place to start. We had already done a lot of research beforehand but we were able to pick up a couple of extra guides and maps which proved to be excellent.
In particular, I was able to pick up a free copy of the Australian Western Front Remembrance Trail. I’d only been able to find an online copy back in Sydney, so this was very helpful.
OPEN: The Tourist Office is open 7 days a week. Mon - Sat its open 9:30 AM to 6:30 in summer (shorter hours on a Sunday).
