印地安纳波利斯赛车博物馆的点评
点评：We visited the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum to check out the renovations. The museum is completely updated with a fantastic trip through the speedways history. The new layout has you walk down a recreation of the old garage area with a number of historic cars. You come into a scene as the race is about to begin with the opening ceremonies occurring all around you. This area is great to get pictures with an indycar as the have 3 cars on display. After the presentation you are into an area with cars displayed. the top floor has race memorabilia throughout the years. The lower floor features NASCAR and the five time winners of the 500. There is also a hands on section that allows you to drive a race simulator and try changing tires. The new format was very well done. They have a behind the scenes tour and a track tour to the yard of bricks on the start finish line. This was unavailable because the track was in use while we were there. There is of course a gift shop upon exit. The renovations are outstanding and we really enjoyed our visit.
