Highly recommend the Hampton Inn & Suites Ft. Benning, adjacent to the National Infrantry Museum

点评：My wife and I drove to Columbus, Georgia, for the LSU/Auburn football game this past weekend and stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Fort Benning, adjacent to the National Infantry Museum.
The hotel is well-maintained, with plenty of well-lit parking, and offered a quiet setting. Although there are no restaurants or bars nearby, it is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Fort Benning or the museum.
The highlight of our trip was the National Infantry Museum. I was truly impressed by the sheer size of the museum, the exhibits, and the presentation of our nation's infantry history. The displays of weapons, captured equipment, historical artifacts, photographs, and videos bring history to life in a way that is deeply moving.
The museum grounds are impressive and beautifully maintained, providing a fitting setting for a place that honors the service and sacrifices of our infantry. One particularly touching experience was seeing parents saying goodbye to their sons and daughters as they departed for training.
If you are visiting Columbus, Georgia, I highly recommend you to visit the museum. Whether you have a personal connection to the military, an interest in American history, or simply want to experience something meaningful and memorable, this museum is well worth your time.
The grounds are every are as impressive as the museum itself. Beautifully landscaped featuring statues, a 1/3 scale of the of the Vietnam Memorial, and steel columns from the World Trade Center, along with military hardware.
Ft. Benning troops gather on the grounds for formations on Saturdays, unfortunately, with game kicking off so freaking early, we sadly missed the opportunity to see them.

博物馆的周边环境同样令人印象深刻，丝毫不逊于博物馆本身。园区内景观优美，有各种雕像、按比例1/3缩小的越南战争纪念碑、来自世界贸易中心的钢柱，还有各类军事装备。
每周六，本宁堡的官兵们都会在园中集合列队；可惜比赛开始得太早了，我们遗憾地错失了观看他们的机会。
