Lily Bay State Park campground offers wonderful campsites and access to Moosehead Lake.

点评：We camped at Lily Bay State Park July 8-11, 2025. We had an awesome time!
We are seniors with one vintage cat. We have a small toy hauler with a king bed and wet bath. We planned simple meals at our campsite, did a little hiking and fishing. We left the state park only once and that was to get lost on logging roads looking for moose. We had great weather for our stay and can't wait to return.
Lots of outhouses in the campground. Bath house 9/10 mile from our campsite offered flush toilets and free hot showers. We saw five deer while inside campground. Doe named "Fern" is very friendly. Her yearling twin spike horns are just called "the boys." What a treat!
The lake water was crystal clear! While fishing I could watch the worm on my hook as I reeled it in...without a fish, time after time.
Staff were amazing - friendly and helpful.
Next time we hope to book site 16 or 17 to be right on the water.
