Butterdean Wood的点评
点评：Strangely we visited Butterdean Wood for the very first time at the weekend, and we can see why it’s so popular, especially with dog owners.
The car park is small, but we managed to get a space. A map and other information at the start of the walks helped us to get our bearings. As the weather was so nice we opted for a longer black route walk through the middle and around the western edge of the plantation. This is considerably longer than the orange walk. All walks are well signposted.
We met several other walkers en route, most of whom were friendly and said “hello”. Also a nice surprise to watch a combine harvester at work on an adjoining farm as we walked back to our starting point.
The only disappointment was seeing that one or two dog owners hadn’t picked up after their pets. There really aren’t any excuses for that behaviour.
