An Educational Experience with Mixed Feelings
谢德水族馆的点评
点评：The Shedd Aquarium is well-organized with a great variety of beautiful animals to observe. We especially loved the themed rooms like Amazon, Oceans, and Great Lakes, which were immersive and informative. There was plenty of educational material available, enhancing the experience.
Our only concern was with the larger mammals. While smaller fish and crustaceans seem suited for captivity without significant impact on their quality of life, we felt the enclosures for the dolphins and belugas were too small to allow for them to display their natural behaviors. Of course, this isn’t unique to Shedd Aquarium but a broader concern with aquariums worldwide and something to consider if you’re a wildlife enthusiast.
That said, as far as aquariums go, Shedd is as educational and well-organized as they come. Still, we left with mixed feelings seeing such magnificent animals in limited spaces and sincerely hope their presence is not solely for display but also contributes to the conservation of their species in the wild!
