点评：Our day in old town Peccioli started here with a glimpse into the ancient past but best of all we were able to join the free tour - Peccioli Tour del Martedi. Its a walking tour which starts here at 10am and lasts approx 2 hours, with a truly excellent guide who takes you to all the key places of interest in this truly remarkable old town. Here you will find a wonderful collection of contemporary art created for and built into the fabric of the town. Equally, there are so many beautiful views that appear at unexpected turns in the journey.
And there is more including the 'Giants of Peccioli' - a sculpture installation called 'Presences'.
If you are going to visit, I recommend you go in the morning, take the tour, get lunch before siesta and then widen your experience outside the old town as you choose.
It really is worth a visit.
