Pettibone survived the Mississippi flood

点评：Unfortunately, Pettibone Park was really hit hard by the flood. The road was washed out and closed. Even most park benches and picnic tables were still covered with dirt from the flood. Hopefully, park rangers will have the park cleared up when you visit. I could walk to it and that was nice. i spotted a turtle near the river so that was a treat. I did find one place where I could sit with my partner and watch the boats on the Missiissippi river. The real treat for me was the Cass Street Bridge which is near by. I love bridges and there is a stairway from Pettibone Park to get up to the bridge and you can walk all the way across and back. I loved that experience! There was no place for me to review the Cass Street Bridge so I thought I would add it here since this park easily connects to it. The park is free. There is a small beach and public rest rooms. Enjoy your visit.
