Having pre-paid 35 Euros for 7 family members to go on the sightseeing tour of Cala d'Or we waited nearly an hour for a train that never arrived, and yes, we were there in good time ahead of the advertised pick up time.
The timetable is simply fictitious, you can track the train on an app and it bounces around randomly. Apparently the tracking doesn't work when there are a large amount of tourists in the area. This is the start of June, it wasn't even that busy.....!
Spoke to plenty of other people who had similar experiences waiting around for ages and when I managed to find someone who had actually managed to catch the train he said the only decent part of the trip was when it went around the marina and it was a waste of an hour.
Oh, and you won't get a refund if you pay up front as I did and don't use the train.
