Cebaco Bay Sportfishing的点评
点评：We had an epic trip to Cébaco Bay! Capt. Buddy was fantastic with communication leading up to the trip and did a great job coordinating our transfer to Puerto Mutis. He is very knowledgeable about the area and kept us entertained the whole trip. Once on the water, Capt. Nino and mate Eduardo had the fishing dialed in. We explored some of the most beautiful waters I’ve ever had the pleasure of fishing.
Over the course of the trip, we caught cubera snapper, broomtail grouper, tuna, wahoo, African pompano, horse-eye jacks, big mahi, and blue marlin. On the final day, we had a shot at a grand slam with six billfish bites. We landed a large blue marlin, jumped off another XXL blue, had a black marlin on the line, and lost a sailfish. The roosterfish didn’t cooperate, but we’ll be back—especially after seeing the size of the one that followed my popper to the boat. That image is seared into my mind.
The chef left nothing to be desired. Breakfasts were hearty, boat lunches hit the spot, and we were greeted with sushi the moment we tied up. Do yourself a favor and request his homemade ice cream—seriously.
If you’re looking to check off a bucket-list fishing trip, come fish with Capt. Buddy and the crew aboard Journey Bay. We didn’t see another boat with fishing rods for three straight days. Unreal.
