Three-Day Northern Bali Highlands

I understand most people visit Bali for the beaches, but this backpacking trip was a wonderful insight into Northern Bali’s ecology, history, and spirituality.
I organized a three-day, two-night trip with Dika over WhatsApp. He was very attentive and responsive. The trip was customized to my needs, allowing me to hike and discover as much as possible on foot. I only contacted him several days before the trip, and everything was organized to perfection.
My original guide was replaced due to a last-minute issue, but I was very fortunate to meet Asmara as my new guide. First off, he was physically more than capable of completing this trip, which I had compressed from four days into three, with plenty of distance and elevation. Second, and more importantly, he is deeply passionate about his community. Bali Local Tour Guide isn’t just a company. It is a network of local people working together to support their community.
I was able to visit Asmara’s village and see their way of life. Throughout the trek, he had many interactions with friends, villagers, and local shops. It truly gave me a sense of how strong the community is.
The trip was full of adventure, knowledge, and learning. I got to meet many Balinese people and see parts of Bali that I otherwise never would have experienced. As a spiritual person, I found this backpacking journey deeply fulfilling, and much of that was because of Asmara.
I originally didn’t want to hire a guide, but I am very glad I did. I believe in serendipity, and somehow the universe worked its magic and organized this much-needed trip for me. I learned a great deal about Bali and also about myself. I thank Bali Local Tour Guide for helping me complete it.
I was also always very happy to see Putu Budi’s warm smile whenever he showed up with delicious, warm, comforting food.
Lastly, as an experienced hiker, I can say that they can accommodate all levels of adventurers. I would feel comfortable recommending them to anyone from solo travelers to families with children. Everyone was caring and paid close attention to detail.
I don’t need to tell you about all the wonderful places we visited. Words cannot describe them. I think they are for you to discover.
When I return to Bali, I will certainly plan another journey with Asmara and Bali Local Tour Guide.

我得以造访阿斯马拉的村庄，亲眼目睹了当地人的生活方式。在整个徒步过程中，他与许多朋友、村民以及当地的商家都有互动。这真的让我深切感受到这个社区的凝聚力有多强。
这次旅行充满了冒险、知识与启示。我结识了许多巴厘岛人，也看到了一些若非此次旅行便永远无缘接触的巴厘岛风光。作为一名注重精神修养的人，我觉得这次背包旅行极其充实，而这一切很大程度上要归功于阿斯马拉。
起初我并不想雇佣导游，但后来我很庆幸自己这么做了。我信奉机缘巧合，而宇宙似乎也施展了它的魔力，为我安排了这场必不可少的旅程。通过这次旅行，我不仅对巴厘岛有了很多了解，也更加认识了自己。在此，我要感谢Bali Local Tour Guide帮我圆满完成了这次旅行。
