Perfect, quiet, family site.
Coastal Valley Camp and Crafts的点评
点评：Just back from a week's camping stay at Coastal Valley.
Tanya and Andy are very welcoming, brilliant with the kids and very informative on things to do in the area.
The site itself is small and extremely chilled.. everyone seemed to be respectful of 'quiet time' and felt very family oriented.
Absolutely brilliant and safe to allow your kids to run feral, playing down in the park or walking the river walk and getting filthy (which my son did daily).
Dogs allowed on leads as there are chickens roaming in the mornings and evenings.
Shower block/kitchen area is absolutely spot on even has an area to hang wet suits after a day of surfing. The shop onsite has essentials plus some extras for kids to buy souvenirs etc. The pastries were an extra treat and delicious. (I recommend the HUGE cinnamon swirls)
The walk to Water Gate Bay is about 40/45 mins up and over the hill. (My 9 year old son moaned .. be warned)
Lastly a little shout out to Martin who runs the Barn .. the pizzas and tacos are amazing .. we only ate there once as had prepared food for the week. I loved bobbing down for a ginger cocktail and it seemed well used by locals too which is fab. The river walk is just behind the Barn and my son slipped on the bridge, Martin kindly bought him back to camp to us..
Regards previous review and the water situation.. there are signs on the water taps asking you not to wash dishes there or do personal hygiene.. which just goes without saying really.. there are areas for this.
What I thought was really good and actually a little unusual.. most people we spoke to had been returning there for YEARS. I think this says a lot for the site and I too hope we shall be one of the 'returners' 🤣🥰
(We had the hardstanding pitch as we have a glawning and van)

最后，向经营 Barn 的 Martin 致以最诚挚的谢意……披萨和玉米饼都很棒……我们只在那里吃过一次，因为已经为一周准备了食物。我喜欢在那里喝一杯姜汁鸡尾酒，当地人似乎也经常去那里，这真是太棒了。河边步道就在 Barn 后面，我的儿子在桥上滑倒了，Martin 好心地把他带回了营地……
