extremely unsettling and bad experience

点评：My friends and I had come to camp at the island. We were told that there were camp sites, but that they were only suggestions and that the whole island is open for camping. My friends and I chose a campsite on a small hill and put up our stuff for the night. After dark, a truck comes by and a man leans out and asks if we're camping to which we respond yes. He just sits there staring at us for a little bit before I try to make small talk to break the silence and then he drove away after talking for a few minutes. Although this was weird, we went ahead and set up for dinner. Then, another truck comes around with the owner and the owner's nephew (who checked us in). They say that we can't camp where we are because it's dangerous and that we won't want to be there in the morning but are extremely vague. At this point, it would be really difficult for us to move all our stuff since it's dark. We start looking for other sites when we run into the owner again and ask him exactly why we need to move and if it's actually necessary. The owner informs us that we're camping on an INDIAN BURIAL MOUND. With actual ancient human remains in the mound. This had NO signage or any fencing to show that it should not be walked on or camped on. My friends and I were extremely disturbed that this was not marked and felt that we had disrespected the mound. The owner was extremely disrespectful to the site and even said that human bones have been washed out of the eroded mound into the lake. This was so unsettling that my friends and I left after they dropped us off on another part of the island. Please DO NOT support this place or these people.
