点评：We did the tour of Balos and Gramvousa
This is a long (1.5 hr) coach ride from Rethymno followed by 1hr on a VERY big bost to get to Balos.
Balos is a big lagoon, warm lovely water, a little pink sand, but mainly not. Great for a paddle, or you can get into deeper water if you want to swim. No shade is provided, but you can rent a parasol for 7 euro on the boat for the day. You are meant to have 3 hrs here, but it was nowhere near this, 2 is more realistic
Gramvousa is 30 mins on the same boat from Balos.
Balos is nice clear water, not much special other than the chance to climb up to the Venecian fort, but it is steep. So you will swim and sunbath OR climb. Again, it is meant to be 2 hrs, more like 1.5.
Food on board is OK, but the only place you can get food. Not expensive, so maybe budget 10 euro each for this if you don't want to make a packed lunch.
All in all, nice trip, but not really worth the price of 47 euro each ( plus 1 euro local tax paid on the day.
