Waves higher than the boat, people vomiting, panic attack

点评：I bought a ticket from Bali-Lombok-Bali and they cancelled my boat and simply forgot to tell me. Luckily I arrived at the port ahead of time and they managed to find me a ticket with 'Golden Queen' ferry.
On the way back (Lombok-Bali), surprisingly they also asked me to board 'Golden Queen' (never FreeBird Express) rather than FreeBird Express.
I had the worst experience ever! I literally thought I was going to die. About 40 min after we left Bangsal, big waves started to hit the ferry. They were higher than the boat and the water came through all the front part of the boat. The waves hit us several times during the way (at this time, there was still one hour to get to Bali). People started to scream, to get life jackets from under the seat, some others were vomiting.
I never went through so much stress in my whole life. I got a panic attack and took several minutes to be able to calm down. I was tense and in alert state the entire trip. The crew members were saying this is "normal" during August. They NEVER gave us ANY safety instructions.
FreeBird Express sells themselves as a "luxurious" ferry in Indonesia, but it's a JOKE that they put me to travel with 'Golden Queen' (very old ferry that put us ALL in risk today). Be careful when buying tickets from them, as they might cancel your boat and send you to a cheap ferry like they did with me.
