点评:This zoo is pathetic. I went here decades ago, liked it, and thought it might be fun for my adult son to see now. Unfortunately, it in no way resembled what I remembered. The vast majority of "animals" here are large plastic replicas, like you might see in Legoland (which I love, by the way); there are very few actual real animals, and certain zoo "staples," such as giraffes, are simply missing. The whole place has a run-down feel to it, and they seem to be trying to make it appealing to parents with young kids by creating a couple of playground-like areas, which are nice enough and probably keep toddlers occupied but bear no relation to what a zoo should actually offer. There were also two large Toyota car displays (because apparently Toyota is a sponsor of the zoo), including actual cars (see photo of one). The cars were cool, but why are cars in a zoo? The train "store" was either shut down or didn't exist anymore (see photo), and the zoo's train wasn't working (for who know how long—see photo). To make matters worse, the $25 admission fee per person (not including parking!) is simply unjustifiable. The only reason I'm giving this zoo two stars instead of one is because I do think if you want a play area for your toddler and if you're maybe a zoo member and so get a better deal on admission, it could be worth it. But for occasional visitors, especially adults, forget it. I don't think any kid age 5 or above would think much of this zoo either. Really disappointing, and a rip-off.
