点评:Visited St. Louis area with 2 teen age grandchildren. Every place we went was really terrific (Arch, Zoo, etc). But this water park is the WORST. Bought preferred parking. Print out was scanned at gate and we were waved through. Went to park and was told by a sullen man we didn’t have a ticket. Showed ticket. Was told we needed a pass that should have been given at gate. We said girl didn’t give us one. And the guy shouted “I can’t help she didn’t do her job! You can’t park here!!” Went back got the pass-a piece of colored paper. Literally set the tone for the whole visit. Went to buy tickets was told by a girl in the booth who made it very obvious she hated her job-the only ones they hire apparently-that it was $76 each but to go use my phone and get them on line cheaper. Are you kidding?? I’m am literally standing in the place and you can’t sell me the ticket for the same price as on line? AND we had already paid $225 for a cabana and water park tickets and we STILL needed to buy amusement park tickets that we weren’t even going to? Unbelievable. Lunch for 4 people (hot dogs and chips) was $94 served by more sullen teenagers. The “combos” did not include drinks which were $5.50 each for a medium drink. The only rides we saw open was the kiddy pool, wave pool and lazy river.
By all means visit St. Louis. Everywhere else we went the people were lovely, the food terrific and the Arch and museum is stunning. But don’t waste your money here just swim in your hotel’s pool.
